1948 - 1955

The foundations of Hanel Group were laid in 1948 when Hasan Hüseyin Özyer and Ömer Özyer began fabric trading, traveling from village to village. In 1955, the business expanded with the opening of a drapery shop, marking a significant step in its commercial journey. Today, with its deep-rooted history, Hanel Group continues to thrive, growing across multiple industries while staying true to its legacy of trust and innovation.

1960 - 1966

Hasan Hüseyin Özyer took his first step into the jewelry sector by establishing his first jewelry manufacturing and retail store. With rapid growth and increasing demand, the business expanded quickly, leading to the opening of a second store in a short time.

1977

Ömer Özyer, who played a key role in building and expanding the family business alongside his father, later entrusted the commercial operations to his sons Hasan, Süleyman, and Faruk Özyer, ensuring the continuation of the family's entrepreneurial legacy.

1985

With a vision to diversify their business ventures, Hasan, Faruk, and Süleyman Özyer expanded into a new industry by launching their first fuel station, marking another milestone in the family's growing commercial success.

1991

The journey into the tourism sector began with the opening of Asena Village Hotel in the Hisarönü region of Fethiye, marking a significant milestone in Hanel Group's expansion into hospitality.

1995 - 1999

The jewelry sector continued to grow with the launch of Marmaris Gold Center, Telmessos Gold Center, and Bodrum Gold Center, further strengthening Hanel Group's presence in the industry.

2002 - 2009

Real estate investments and sales operations were launched under the Hanel House brand in Fethiye, Artey Global in Bodrum, and Priyen Construction in Kuşadası, marking a significant expansion into the real estate sector for Hanel Group.

2011 - 2013

Investments in the energy sector were initiated with the launch of As Energy and Solarlife, marking Hanel Group's entry into the renewable energy industry and reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development.

2017

The Central Café Business Center was acquired in Budapest, Hungary.

2019

Vitta Hotel Superior opened in Budapest, Hungary.

2021

The Sundia Exclusive by Liberty Fethiye hotel, a 5-star resort, was inaugurated in the Çalış region of Fethiye.

2024

Liberty Signa, a luxurious ultra all-inclusive resort spanning 45,000 m² with 562 rooms, opened in Fethiye, offering guests an unparalleled vacation experience.

2024

Silence Villas, a collection of 10 luxury villas with a sleek, low-rise architectural design, was launched in the Kargı region of Fethiye.
