Privacy and Cookie Policy
Cookies are files containing small pieces of data, such as usernames and passwords, that are exchanged between the user’s computer or mobile phones and the web server to identify specific users and improve their browsing experience. They are used to store information when a user accesses various pages of a website or mobile application or when the user returns to the website or mobile application at a later stage.
There are two types of cookies used on our websites: Session Cookies and Persistent Cookies.
Session Cookies are used only while navigating our website. These are stored in random access memory and are never written to the hard drive. When the session ends, session cookies are automatically deleted. They also help the “back” button or third-party anonymizer plugins function properly. These plugins are designed to work with certain browsers and help protect user privacy.
Persistent Cookies remain on a computer indefinitely, although many have an expiration date and are automatically removed when that date is reached. The expiration dates of this information have been declared via the Verbis system and are also included in the Policy.
Persistent cookies are mainly used for two purposes:
Authentication: These cookies track whether a user is logged in and under which username. They also save login information so that users do not have to remember their site passwords.
Tracking: These cookies track multiple visits to our websites over time. For example, cookies are used to track users’ visits and the pages and products viewed. The information gathered allows for the recommendation of other products that may interest visitors.
You can always manage the use of Cookies from the Manage Cookies section. Regardless of your preference, your browser allows you to delete cookie information from your device at any time. The steps to manage and delete cookies we offer differ from browser to browser. These steps are explained in your browser’s help menu. Be sure to configure all the browsers on your different devices (tablets, smartphones, computers, etc.).
